Believe it or not, there was a kind of controversy [slow couple of news days before Eliot’s Ho No thing popped off] over SNL’s alleged pro-Hillary bias [read: three shows in a row that by turns depicted Senator Obama on the receiving end of preferential press treatment, as a weak and inexpert president at 3AM, and a flat out Hillary endorsement courtesy of guest host Tina Fey, who proclaimed that Clinton was a bitch, and so was she, ‘cause bitches "got stuff done" and then that "bitch was the new black." Hillary was then welcomed onto SNL pre-Ohio for a “well-received” cameo.
Yeah, Obama was on back in November, but timing’s the lord our god. Saturday, SNL gave Fred Armisen's [decidedly, strangely, white] Obama and Amy Poehler’s [often spot on] Hillary the night off … inviting 30 Rock co-star and former cast member Tracy Morgan to address this week’s race issues [read: Geraldine Ferraro and Obama’s pastor Jeremiah Wright]. Morgan said, directly rebutting Fey: “Bitch may be the new black, but black is the new president, bitch.”
